Summary
Pros
The 100 Calorie Diet is a diet that restricts your intake of calories, but encourages the concept that no foods, and especially the ones you like, have to be left out of your diet as long as you eat them in 100 calories increments and count them all in your days total calorie count.  It encourages daily exercise along with careful daily food planning to get the maximum weight loss.  Nutrition and healthy eating are also part of the plan with a list of free foods (lots of veggies) that you can consume without adding them to your total calorie intake for the day.  The amount of weight loss on this diet will depend entirely on your long-range commitment to this diet, but if you adhere to the diet, the authors claim you should lose 1-2 pounds weekly and advise against fast weight loss gimmicks.
